A Hot Springs Retreat

Each of us has a goddess within. Not some faraway fantasy that exists as a thing of fiction, impossible to access, but as a sacred self that is lying dormant, perhaps, while always ready to befriend and guide us.

Join Black & Brown Women’s Alliance for a weekend of healing mineral waters, yoga, meditation, sound healing, and more at Joyful Journey Hot Springs in the pristine Sangre de Cristo mountains of Moffat, Colorado, just 3 hours south of Denver. Naturally super-heated by the earth’s active geothermal and hydrothermal activity, Joyful Journey provides a sanctuary for the soul where you can relax and rejuvenate. Connect at your leisure with like-minded sisters on the healing path.

About the Weekend

Enjoy bliss-filled sisterhood and contemplative practices that include:

  • guided meditation
  • nature walks
  • sunrise practice
  • earth-based ritual
  • unstructured downtime for reflection and restoration
  • optional dips into the natural hot springs

All meals are included and most dietary needs – ie gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc – can be accommodated.

The soaring presence of the Sangre de Cristo mountains provides the perfect backdrop and foundation for Awakening the Goddess Within. Check-in begins as early as 2pm, and our weekend will officially launch with a welcome dinner at 6pm. Sunday departure by 2pm on Sunday. Learn more and register here.
